Leaking Shower, Water Damage Claim Testimonial | I first met Trevor Kelly while he was working for another company and before he went into business on his own. He had given me his card and telephone number at that time. Subsequently when I had property damage of my own and needed to make a claim, I called Trevor.

How did the project run?
I would contact Trevor and he would tell me not to do anything to make the damage worse and not to put myself in any danger by going near plugs, sockets, etc. Trevor would then ring the insurance company and arrange to meet with a loss adjuster to agree the scope of the damage.

I travel quite a lot and it’s helpful to me that Trevor can let himself in and do what he needs to without my being there. Trevor deals with everything from inspecting the damage, dealing with the insurance company and handling all documentation. He also helps with gathering quotations to repair the damage. The main thing that I’m concerned with regards to the settlement is getting like for like.

If I needed to get receipts to show that furniture had been purchased at Brown Thomas or Arnotts, he would chase that up. I wouldn’t need to argue those points with the insurance company.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Insurance Claim Solutions?
The saving of my time and not having to deal with the bureaucracy, form filling and all the things you don’t want to do when filing a claim. My time is more valuable to me than running around the country trying to get a plumber, electrician or a carpet guy to quote for and fix the damage. Trevor’s service takes away a lot of the headaches, tedium and phone calls.

What would you consider the best part of dealing with Trevor?
the overriding best part would be the speedy resolution of a claim.

Without hesitation, yes.

Any tips for other people?
With a situation like property damage, it’s helpful to have someone working for you who has the skills and experience you may not have yourself. If I want an orthodontist I go to an orthodontist, if I need a surveyor, I go to a surveyor.

For instance, Trevor is a qualified building surveyor and as such knows what to look for with regards to things like “unseen” damage. Things that could lead to further problems down the road. He can point this out to the loss adjuster and make sure that any potential damage of that sort is corrected as well as the obvious damage.
