This policy explains how Insurance Claim Solutions collects and uses personal data when you use this website, contact us, or ask us to act for you on an insurance claim, and the rights you have over your data.

The personal data we collect
- When you contact us: your name, phone number, email address, the type of claim and any details you give us about what has happened. This includes information you send through the forms on this website, by email, by phone or through WhatsApp.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, and your name if you give it.
- When you appoint us to act on your claim: information we need to prepare and manage the claim, such as your address, details of the property and the damage, photographs, your insurance policy details, correspondence with your insurer, its loss adjuster and your broker, and payment details for settling our fee.
- When you use this website: technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you consent to them (see our Cookie Policy). Without your consent, Google receives only limited information from this website, sent without cookies, such as that a page was viewed or an enquiry was made, which it uses to estimate overall how the website and our adverts perform. We also keep a record of the cookie choices you make.
We do not ask for health information. If you choose to tell us about health or other sensitive matters, for example because they affect your circumstances after a loss, we only use that information for the purpose you gave it to us.
How we use your data and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and give you initial advice: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To act for you on your claim under our letter of appointment: performance of our contract with you.
- To send you our newsletter, if you subscribe: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record-keeping required of a firm regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland: legal obligation.
- To run, secure and improve this website: our legitimate interests.
- To measure how the website is used and how our advertising performs: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings on this website. For the limited information Google receives without cookies, our legitimate interest in understanding overall how the website and our adverts perform.
Advertising and remarketing
With your consent, we use Google’s advertising features, including Google signals and remarketing, to show our adverts to people who have visited this website and to measure how well our advertising works. If you have accepted advertising cookies and send us an enquiry through this website, we also share your email address and phone number with Google in a scrambled (hashed) form, so that Google can tell us whether the enquiry followed one of our adverts. Google may combine this with information from the Google accounts of people who have allowed ad personalisation. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on this website, and manage Google’s ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Who we share your data with
We only share personal data where it is needed for the purposes above:
- Parties to your claim: your insurer, its loss adjuster, your broker, and contractors or specialists you ask us to involve.
- Service providers who act on our behalf: website hosting (WPMU DEV), our client relationship management system (HighLevel), email delivery (SendLayer), website analytics and advertising (Google and Microsoft Clarity), card payments (Stripe) and our reviews widget (Trustindex). They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Regulators and public authorities, including the Central Bank of Ireland, where the law requires us to.
We do not sell your personal data.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, and for as long as the law and our regulatory obligations require us to keep records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to how we use it;
- ask for your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email info@insuranceclaimsolutions.ie. We will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie), although we would welcome the chance to deal with your concern first.
Keeping your data secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through the website forms.

This website links to other websites, such as those of public bodies. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
